Abandoned Dog Found Clinging to Stuffy Toy
A heartbreaking video of an abandoned dog wandering the streets, clutching its stuffy toy has come to light sparking a wave of sympathy for the dog and outrage towards its owner.
The video, shared on Tiktok under the username @devil_nyxx, shows a black Pitbull without any identifying tags or collar, seemingly lost and alone, clutching its cherished toy.
The woman who discovered the dog can be seen in the video gently calling the dog over, offering words of reassurance. Initially hesitant, the dog slowly approaches her, eventually seeking comfort in her embrace.
The overlaying text on the video reads, “Found this sweet boy abandoned outside my house with his stuffy. No tag, no collar, no nothing. I took ghost inside and kneeled to call him. He was shy at first but slowly walked up and laid on me, it shows he once had a home, this is cruel. My heart aches for him.”
The video shared on November 8 has since gone viral receiving over 76,000 views and over 16,000 comments with messages of support, concern and sympathy for the dog. Many have praised the woman for her kindness and expressed outrage at the irresponsible behavior of the person who abandoned the puppy.

Despite her best efforts to provide temporary shelter and comfort, the woman shared in a subsequent video that she was unable to keep the dog due to compatibility issues with her own pet. The dog was subsequently taken to an animal rescue shelter, where it will hopefully find a loving and permanent home.
“I’m so sad that we could not keep him and that I was not home to say good bye when they came to get him but they did let him keep his stuffy so hopefully that puts all of our minds at ease for the time being ,” the woman shared in the update caption. She promised to share any updates she receives and expressed her gratitude for the online support.
